Frequently asked questions

Do my files go to Neural's servers?

No. The backup goes only to the destinations you choose: your drives, your NAS or the folder of your own OneDrive, Google Drive or Dropbox account. The internet is used only to activate the license, and activation sends no file names or content.

If I cancel the subscription, do I lose my backups?

No. The backups stay on your drives and in your cloud, and the app keeps restoring everything already copied. What stops are the paid features: new backups go back to the Free plan rules.

What is the difference between yearly and lifetime?

Yearly is a subscription with every update while it is active, renewed automatically until you cancel. Lifetime is paid once and is valid forever for the edition you bought, with its fixes; when a new edition comes out, you decide whether to upgrade.

What if I change my mind?

You have 7 calendar days to ask for a full refund, no questions asked. In countries whose law gives a longer period, the legal period applies. Details in the refund policy.
